How thick are the pavers?
All the pavers are 1 & 1/4 inch thick. Forever Stone is strong enough to put on a driveway yet thin enough to place over concrete
What colors does it come in?
The pavers come in a blend of light granites, a blend of dark granites or a total mix of colors. Since we are taking the waste from granite fabricators we cannot choose the color or type of granite we get in. Our light blend contains everything from white marble to dark tans. Our dark blend contains everything from tans to black. Either choice will give you a rich blend of texture and colors that will match with just about any decor.
Are the pavers slippery when they get wet?
No. The granite we use for pavers is finished on one side and has a rough texture on the other. The rough side is placed up. If you are using this for interior tile you can place either the rough side up or the finished side up.
Are the pavers it strong?
Absolutely. Poured concrete wittstands around 5,000 PSI; concrete pavers around 8,000 PSI; GRANITE 15,000 PSI or more!
Can the pavers handle salt or other ice melting products?
Yes. Salt will not harm granite the way it harms concrete.
Will it fade the way concrete pavers do?
No. This is natural stone. It does not fade.
How do you put it down?
A paver is only as good as the bed it's placed on. Forever Stone goes down just like any other paver. For a patio you should use at least 4 inches of compacted crushed stone with an inch of stone dust or sand. If you are going to drive on it you should put down 8-10 inches of compacted crushed stone with an inch of stone dust, sand, or dry pack. If you have an existing concrete patio you can put Forever Stone down on a wet bed.
How do I order?
To order we will need to know the size of you order. You should order 5-10% more than you actually need for cuts and waste. For paver order we will need to know the size of the pavers and blend color. For Split Stone we need to know what colors you are looking for. We need to know where you are. Do you need delivery or will you be picking this up? What is your time line? Are you looking to do your project next week or next year?
